HARD CONTACT LENSES
Sometimes called “flexible”, these are generally made of a plastic material that contains silicon and fluorine, two elements that allow the eyes to breathe.
HYPERMETROPIA
An abnormality of vision in which the image forms behind the retina rather than on it. In hypermetropia, vision for distant objects is good whereas vision for near objects is not as good or poor. It is the opposite of myopia.
